The Sauvignon Alto Adige DOC from Josef Weger is a white wine that expresses the grape's typical aromatic profile with restraint and clarity. In the glass it shows a pale yellow colour with greenish reflections. On the nose there are notes of ripe citrus, white flowers and a light herbaceous touch, accompanied by fresh nuances recalling tomato leaf and lemongrass. The intensity is contained but well defined, inviting tasting without excess.

On the palate it reveals natural freshness and a lean structure; the acidity supports the wine, leaving a saline, dry sensation on the finish, with aromatic echoes of white-fleshed fruit and aromatic herbs. It pairs well with fish dishes, shellfish, composed salads and fresh cheeses; it also works as an aperitif. Recommended serving temperature around 8–10 °C. Suitable for short-term storage to preserve varietal freshness. The drinking experience is immediate but may show light aromatic developments in the hours after opening.
