This Sauvignon stands out for its intensely varied aromatic profile, inviting a meditative and pleasantly stimulating tasting experience.

On the nose, the Sauvignon Venezia Giulia IGT from Attems offers a complex bouquet where notes of tropical fruits such as passion fruit and guava stand out, alongside hints of citrus and a delicate herbaceous background reminiscent of green pepper and fresh arugula. The incorporation of floral aromas and a light minerality add a further level of olfactory complexity.

On the palate, the wine is balanced, with a vibrant freshness that gently cleanses the palate. The acidity is well-balanced, making this Sauvignon Venezia Giulia IGT particularly lively and persistent. Its structure is supported by a soft texture that makes it accessible and enjoyable for a wide audience.

This wine is ideal for pairing with fish dishes, particularly raw and sashimi, but also light appetizers and salads enriched with fresh cheeses. Its versatility makes it an excellent choice for aperitifs and to be enjoyed as a contemplative wine.

We recommend serving it at a temperature of 10-12°C to best enhance its organoleptic properties. The Sauvignon Venezia Giulia IGT by Attems is a distinct expression of this grape variety, promising to surprise and delight white wine enthusiasts with its unique and captivating profile.

Winery history
The name Attems is linked to the family's long presence in the Colli del Friuli: documents record vineyard holdings as early as 1106 and production entries in the master ledgers of 1764. The estate has endured the area's historical changes and, since 2000, has been managed by the Marchesi Frescobaldi group, which has preserved its identity and commitment to the local territory.

Production focused on expressing the terroir: careful vineyard management and winemaking that respect its balance, showcasing native and international grape varieties from the Collio.
