The Sicilia DOC Syrah Mahâris from Feudo Maccari offers an authentic and vibrant expression of the Syrah grape, which has adapted superbly to the climate and terroir of Sicily. This wine encapsulates all the passion and dedication that Feudo Maccari devotes to the cultivation and winemaking of its grapes.

With a deep, almost impenetrable red color, Mahâris stands out for its visual intensity. On the nose, it offers complex and enveloping aromas of ripe fruit, such as blackberries and plums, with subtle hints of exotic spices and a delicate touch of vanilla, resulting from aging in barrique. These aromas weave together perfectly, creating a harmonious and inviting bouquet.

On the palate, the wine is structured and robust, with elegant yet pronounced tannins that promise good longevity. The balance between acidity and alcohol is admirable, with a flavorful persistence that brings back the spicy and fruity notes detected on the nose, enriched by a slight aftertaste of balsamic and dark chocolate.

Ideal to accompany intense dishes such as roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses, the Sicilia DOC Syrah Mahâris from Feudo Maccari represents an excellent choice for those who wish to discover the depth and complexity of Sicilian wines. A wine that not only satisfies the palate, but also tells the story of a sun-drenched land rich in wine-making traditions.
