The Teeling Single Grain is an extraordinary expression of the savoir-faire of the Irish distillery Teeling, renowned for its ability to innovate while remaining true to the roots of Irish whisky tradition. This whisky is distilled exclusively from grain and ages in a strict selection of barrels that previously housed Californian Cabernet Sauvignon wine. This particular aging method gives the Single Grain a complexity rare for a grain whisky, endowing it with a unique and seductive aromatic profile.

Visually, the Teeling Single Grain presents a vibrant amber-red color, a distinctive sign of the influence of the red wine barrels. On the nose, sweet and fruity notes of cherry and raspberries emerge, balanced by hints of vanilla and sweet spices, an echo of the classic notes of Irish whisky.

On the palate, the Teeling Single Grain surprises with its smoothness, enveloping the mouth with an almost silky texture. The flavors of red fruit blend with touches of chocolate and a subtle spiciness of cinnamon and cloves, culminating in a long and pleasantly persistent finish that leaves traces of sweetness and a light dryness derived from the wood.

Packaged in an elegant bottle and presented in a refined case, the Teeling Single Grain is the ideal gift for whisky lovers seeking something unique or an excellent addition to the collection of any connoisseur. Pair it with red meat dishes or enjoy it on its own to fully appreciate its richness and complexity.

Distillation

Combined use of pot stills (for single pot still expressions) and column stills (for some grain whiskey); some expressions are triple distilled; method varies depending on the bottle.

Ageing

Maturation in a wide range of casks with frequent finishes and double maturations (e.g. bourbon followed by wine casks such as Sauternes, red wine casks; finish in Japanese shochu casks on some releases). Many bottles are bottled without chill filtration and are reduced from cask strength to their house 'signature' ABV.
