Sild Crannog by Lantenhammer is a German single malt that surprises with the clarity and balance of the sip. It opens with notes of warm malt and honey, fading into yellow-fleshed fruit and delicate sweet spices; the oak is subtle and well integrated. On the palate the texture remains soft and enveloping, with a warm but measured feel, balancing salinity and gentle tannins. The clean sip and lingering finish make the tasting pleasant, inviting a second taste without weighing it down.

Presented in a gift box in the 70 cl format, it is best enjoyed neat in a tulip glass at room temperature or with a few drops of water to open its aromatic profiles. It’s an especially elegant choice for a gift and sits comfortably alongside aged cheeses and dry desserts as well as in meditative after-dinner moments; its measured structure also makes it adaptable to light reinterpretations in short cocktails.
