The Soave Classico "Monte Fiorentine" DOC from Cà Rugate is a refined example that captures the essence of the winemaking tradition of Veneto. Made primarily with Garganega grapes, this white wine is distinguished by its elegance and complexity.

"Monte Fiorentine" comes from vineyards located in some of the highest and most prestigious areas of the Soave Classico denomination, where the volcanic soil and unique microclimates impart a distinctive minerality and intrinsic freshness to the wine. The vinification process is carefully controlled to preserve the delicate aromatic notes of the grapes, following a controlled temperature fermentation and a short maturation period in stainless steel, which maintains the purity and liveliness of the fruit.

Visually, the wine presents a bright straw-yellow color. The nose reveals intense aromas of white flesh fruits, such as peach and pear, enhanced by floral nuances and a subtle touch of almond. On the palate, "Monte Fiorentine" expresses remarkable freshness and impeccable balance, with a pleasant acidic vein that intertwines with mineral flavors and an aromatic persistence that invites another sip.

This wine pairs beautifully with fish dishes, herb risottos, or vegetables, and can also be an excellent companion for light appetizers. Ideal for those looking for a white wine that is aromatic, fresh, and capable of aging well. A true gem of Soave Classico, "Monte Fiorentine" from Cà Rugate represents a standard of excellence that can satisfy even the most demanding palates.

Winery history
The Tessari family has been cultivating vineyards in the area for over a century; the Ca' Rugate label first appeared on bottles in 1986. In 2001 Michele Tessari, the fourth generation of the family, launched a project to reorganize the estate and expand the vineyards, and the new winery in Montecchia di Crosara was inaugurated in 2002. Over the years the estate has developed wine‑tourism activities and created a wine museum to tell the family's agricultural history.
Production philosophy
Quality that begins in the vineyard is a priority: sustainable management and low-impact practices to enhance native varieties and the expression of the terroir. Since 2004 the estate has adopted more sustainable agronomic methods and demonstrates a commitment to traceability and preserving the local character. Since 2013 it has been part of Indipendenti del Soave.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are situated on the hills of Val d'Alpone and on land well suited to Soave Classico, Valpolicella and Lessini Durello. The soils have a volcanic and calcareous‑basaltic composition typical of the Soave area; some parcels lie on ridges and terraces with steep slopes and average elevations of around 400–450 meters above sea level.
Awards and recognitions
Numerous national and international awards, including several 'Tre Bicchieri' from the Gambero Rosso guide for the winery's wines, and medals/recognitions at international competitions also dedicated to mountain and heroic wines.
