The Soave Classico Superiore - Bucciato DOCG from Cà Rugate is a sublime expression of the Veneto wine region, particularly noted for its production of superior quality white wines. This wine is made from Garganega grapes, cultivated in the heart of the classic Soave area, a territory that imparts distinctive minerality and refined aromatic intensity to the wine.

The vinification of the Soave Classico Superiore Bucciato begins with a careful selection of grapes, followed by controlled fermentation in stainless steel to preserve the freshness and typical aromaticity of the varietal. Part of the wine then matures in oak barrels, giving the Soave Classico a complexity and structure that elevate it beyond youthful freshness.

Visually, it presents with a straw-yellow color with bright reflections. On the nose, the Soave Classico Superiore Bucciato expresses a complex bouquet, where notes of white fleshed fruits such as peach and apricot meet floral accents and a subtle mineral streak. On the palate, the wine offers an excellent balance between lively acidity and a body that envelops the palate, leading to a long and persistent finish.

This wine from Cà Rugate is ideal as an accompaniment to flavorful fish dishes, seafood, risottos, and fresh cheeses. It is also an excellent choice as an aperitif, thanks to its ability to stimulate the palate with elegance and freshness.

The Soave Classico Superiore Bucciato DOCG from Cà Rugate represents an excellent choice for those seeking a wine that combines tradition and innovation, capable of offering a rich and memorable tasting experience.

Winery history
The Tessari family has been cultivating vineyards in the area for over a century; the Ca' Rugate label first appeared on bottles in 1986. In 2001 Michele Tessari, the fourth generation of the family, launched a project to reorganize the estate and expand the vineyards, and the new winery in Montecchia di Crosara was inaugurated in 2002. Over the years the estate has developed wine‑tourism activities and created a wine museum to tell the family's agricultural history.
Production philosophy
Quality that begins in the vineyard is a priority: sustainable management and low-impact practices to enhance native varieties and the expression of the terroir. Since 2004 the estate has adopted more sustainable agronomic methods and demonstrates a commitment to traceability and preserving the local character. Since 2013 it has been part of Indipendenti del Soave.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are situated on the hills of Val d'Alpone and on land well suited to Soave Classico, Valpolicella and Lessini Durello. The soils have a volcanic and calcareous‑basaltic composition typical of the Soave area; some parcels lie on ridges and terraces with steep slopes and average elevations of around 400–450 meters above sea level.
Awards and recognitions
Numerous national and international awards, including several 'Tre Bicchieri' from the Gambero Rosso guide for the winery's wines, and medals/recognitions at international competitions also dedicated to mountain and heroic wines.
