Vintage 2021
Gradation 14.5%
Format 75 cl
At first impression it presents an elegant and complex profile, where ripe red fruit intertwines with floral notes and a slight hint of spice. The color is ruby with subtle garnet reflections, suggesting an ability to evolve over time. The palate is determined yet balanced: lively acidity and well-present tannins, of fine grain, govern a compact structure, offering a sensation of freshness that supports the wine's substance. The texture is predominantly vertical and dry, with a persistent finish that brings out earthy echoes and a slightly balsamic note.

This Barolo is designed to be paired with structured dishes: braised meats, free-range game, or aged cheeses will find a good companion in its depth and savory backbone. It benefits from a few hours of decanting and being served in a large glass to soften the tannins and release the aromas; serve at around 18 °C to fully appreciate its balance. It has good aging potential that rewards patience and proper cellaring, ideal for those seeking a wine with character without losing finesse.
