The Santi winery, historically respected in the Italian wine scene, meticulously oversees every stage of production. After vinification, the wine matures in steel tanks to preserve all its natural aromatic characteristics.

Visually, the Sortesele Pinot Grigio presents a light straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, fruity notes of pear, green apple, and a slight floral nuance unfold. On the palate, it is vibrant and well-balanced, with a pleasant acidity that makes it extremely drinkable and versatile.

Excellent as an aperitif, the Sortesele Pinot Grigio Valdadige DOC pairs beautifully with light appetizers, fish dishes, and poultry. Perfect for any occasion, it is a wine that never disappoints Pinot Grigio enthusiasts seeking freshness and drinkability.

Winery history
Cantina Santi was founded as a winery in Illasi and has been present in Valpolicella since the 19th century. During the 20th century the Santi family introduced technical innovations and progressively focused on high-end wines; in 1974 the winery became part of Gruppo Italiano Vini, which reinforced investments and facilities while preserving its local identity.
Production philosophy
Santi claims a style tied to the sense of place of Valpolicella: it favors the predominant use of Corvina in its selections, aging in large traditional casks, and the use of local woods to enhance the aromatic qualities typical of native grape varieties. The approach combines oenological research with respect for local practices.
Terroir and vineyards
Santi's vineyards and selections are concentrated in Val d'Illasi and the classic areas of Valpolicella, using a vineyard-selection approach across different exposures and microclimates to produce wines that reflect the local terroir. The winery also works with vineyards in other Veronese appellations such as Soave, Bardolino and Lugana.
