The Spumante Brut of Attilio Contini is born in the evocative territory of Sardinia, where the microclimate and clayey soil give uniqueness to the grapes. This sparkling wine is mainly obtained from carefully selected indigenous grape varieties, maximizing the freshness and aromatic finesse typical of the region. The aging method involves a secondary fermentation in autoclave, which gives its characteristic creamy and persistent effervescence.

In the glass, it appears with a bright straw-yellow color, animated by a fine and vigorous perlage. On the nose, it opens with hints of green apple, white flowers, and a delicate mineral note that recalls the Sardinian terroir. The taste is dry and harmonious, with lively acidity that balances the softness and leaves a fresh and clean finish.

Perfect as an aperitif or paired with dishes based on fish, shellfish, and fresh cheeses, this Spumante expresses the authentic and refined personality of Cantina Contini.

Winery history
Founded by the Contini family and active for generations, the estate has established itself as one of the historic names in Sardinia's wine production. Ownership and management have remained within the family, evolving to combine traditional practices with the modernization of the production facilities; the official website also notes that the winery was renovated in 2022.
Production philosophy
The winery emphasizes the preservation of Sardinian native varieties and the relationship between wine and terroir: alongside the production of Vernaccia di Oristano, it employs both traditional techniques and modern ones, and has developed product lines designed for contemporary markets, including an organic offering.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards and the winery’s operations are located in central-western Sardinia, between the Sinis Peninsula, the Tirso Valley and the slopes of Monte Arci, with headquarters in Cabras. The terroir shapes the style of the wines, characterized by a maritime influence, sandy soils and Mediterranean climates.
