Vibrant and dry, this pas dosé Metodo Classico from Garofoli displays a straightforward, focused profile: fine perlage and a thin cream support a fresh sip, driven by pronounced acidity that keeps the wine taut and elegant. On the nose delicate notes of white flowers and restrained citrus come forward, with a slight hint of bread crust from extended contact with the lees; the texture is lean but precise, unadorned, designed to highlight the purity of the fruit and the natural dryness of the finish.

On the palate the wine is saline and well balanced, with a pleasant persistence that invites the next glass; the body is restrained, ideal for those seeking freshness and lightness in a dry Metodo Classico. Serve chilled to emphasize its tension — excellent as an aperitif or paired with raw seafood, light fried dishes and simple fish preparations; it also works well with delicate hors d’oeuvres without overpowering them.

Winery history
La Garofoli is a family-run company that has been part of Marche viticulture for generations. The company's official website presents the business as "Italian estate since 1901" and describes a family history developed over multiple generations; other specialized sources and technical datasheets report references to the family's activity as early as the late 19th century and to commercial production in vintages predating the 1900s. The company subsequently evolved with facilities in Castelfidardo and vinification structures for Verdicchio in the Serra de' Conti area, and expanded its presence with wines from Conero and other local appellations.
