Produced from the magnificent vineyards nestled in the mountainous landscape of Alto Adige, the St. Magdalener DOC by Kossler is a red wine that captures the essence of this unique land. This wine is primarily made from Schiava grapes, with a small addition of Lagrein, varieties that lend the blend a characteristic balance between softness and elegance.

On the nose, St. Magdalener reveals an aromatic bouquet where notes of berries such as raspberries and strawberries stand out, enriched by slight floral hints and a subtle spicy trace. The color is a light ruby red, typical of the wines from the area, inviting one to taste.

On the palate, the well-balanced acidity combines with a delicate tannic structure, making it enjoyable and drinkable. This wine has a medium body, ideal for pairing with various dishes from Alpine and Mediterranean cuisine, such as light stews, polenta, and semi-aged cheeses.

It is recommended to be served at a temperature of about 14-16°C to best enhance its qualities. The St. Magdalener DOC - Kossler is an exemplary demonstration of how the winemaking tradition in Alto Adige can express wines of great drinkability and charm, suitable for various convivial moments or as a sophisticated meal companion.

This wine not only tells the story of a territory but also reflects the attention and care that the Kossler winery dedicates to the production of superior quality wines, preserving the traditional winemaking methods that have made this wine region famous.
