This 20-year Tawny is a masterful blend of various wines aged in barrels for an average of twenty years. During this extensive aging, the wine acquires extraordinary smoothness, harmony, and evolved aromatic complexity. It presents itself with a deep amber color, highlighting the elegance and visual intensity typical of mature Tawnies.
On the nose, the 20-year Tawny offers a rich and seductive bouquet, with dominant notes of dried fruit such as nuts, almonds, and a hint of candied orange. Also recognizable are nuances of caramel, chocolate, and coffee, derived from the long maturation in wood.
On the palate, this Porto is broad and velvety, with a perfect balance between the sweetness of the fruit and a pleasant acidity that provides freshness. The finish is persistently harmonious, with an aftertaste that recalls sweet spices and fine wood.
Ideally served at a temperature of 12-14°C, the 20-year Tawny is perfect as a meditation wine or to accompany aged cheeses, desserts based on dried fruit, or chocolate. Its presentation in an elegant tube also makes it an ideal gift for wine lovers and collectors.
Purchasing a bottle of 20-year Tawny from W. & J. Graham's means choosing a product of the highest quality, representing the best of Portuguese vinicultural traditions in the world of fortified wines.
