On the palate it reveals a soft, warm texture; the wood is discreet and supports the fruit without covering it; the structure is balanced, with rounded tannins and a pleasant persistence that leaves echoes of dark chocolate, dried fruits and a slight citrus aftertaste. It lends itself to a slow tasting, from a tulip glass at room temperature, or as a meditative after-dinner drink; it pairs successfully with vanilla-based desserts, aged cheeses or a square of dark chocolate. An excellent choice for those seeking an elegant añejo with satisfying drinkability.

Distillation
Double distillation (indicated as the general method); in official product sheets some references report distillation in stainless steel stills while others mention copper stills.
Ageing
Varies by label: Reposado indicated with rest in American oak barrels for at least 2 months; Añejo for at least 12 months in American oak; Extra Añejo aged up to 36 months (for special editions). Some cristalino expressions result from filtration after ageing.
