The Foradori Teroldego is a red wine that captures the essence of organic and biodynamic viticulture in Trentino. This wine blends local tradition with a modern and sustainable vision of viticulture, passionately proposed by the Foradori winery, a reference name in the region.

The Teroldego grapes, native to this area, thrive on predominantly alluvial soils that give the wine a unique structure and remarkable complexity. Intense ruby in color with violet reflections, the Foradori Teroldego offers a nose rich in scents of wild berries, floral notes, and a light spice that enchants from the first taste.

On the palate, the wine expresses robust freshness and well-balanced tannicity, which harmoniously blends with a taste persistence that invites reflection. Flavors of blackberry, cherry, and plum mix with earthy nuances and licorice, typical of this variety.

Partially aged in large oak barrels for about 12 months, the Foradori Teroldego retains the liveliness of the fruit while integrating slightly toasted and vanilla notes that enrich the bouquet.

Perfect to accompany hearty dishes such as meat stews, game dishes or aged cheeses, this wine represents an excellence of Italian winemaking, an ideal choice for lovers of intense yet balanced wines. The Foradori Teroldego is more than a wine, it is a narrative of the Trentino territory that reveals itself with every sip.

Region: Trentino
Country: Italia
Founded: 1901
Grapes: Teroldego, Manzoni Bianco, Nosiola, Pinot Grigio
A benchmark for promoting Teroldego in Trentino Conversion to biodynamics began in 2002 and Demeter-certified since 2009. Winery with about 29 hectares of vineyards and a reported average production of 180,000 bottles per year. Low-intervention winemaking practices: native yeasts, various ageing vessels, bottled without filtration.
Winery history
The estate was officially established in the early 20th century. During the 20th century ownership passed to the Foradori family and, after Elisabetta Foradori’s oenological studies, the estate adopted a focus on promoting Teroldego. In the 2000s the winery began its conversion to biodynamics and obtained Demeter certification. Management has recently involved the next generation, who continue the project of genetic recovery of the vineyards and agricultural diversification.
Production philosophy
Peradori practices agriculture attuned to the land: prioritizing vine vitality, biodiversity and biodynamic techniques. In the cellar the approach is low-intervention: fermentations with indigenous yeasts, limited use of sulfites, aging in different containers and bottling without filtration, with the aim of preserving the expression of the place.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located mainly in the Piana Rotaliana and the surrounding hills of Trentino, at the foot of the Dolomites; the soils include alluvial, gravelly and sandy deposits that influence the character of the wines.
