Timorous Beastie, a blend of Scotch whisky from the Highlands, is a selected edition celebrating the tenth anniversary of its creation. This distillate combines the excellence of various single malts from the Highlands, giving it a complex and richly layered aromatic profile.
Bottled naturally, without chill filtration and with an alcohol content of 46.8%, this whisky presents itself in its bright gold color, completely natural, achieved without the addition of colorants. The maturation process occurs exclusively in selected oak barrels that have previously housed bourbon and sherry, giving the distillate a unique depth and pleasantly balanced aromas.
On the nose, Timorous Beastie reveals a symphony of sweet and spicy aromas: notes of honey, vanilla, and dried fruit alternate with nuances of delicate spices such as cinnamon and ginger, finely intertwined with a slight hint of peat smoke. On the palate, the taste is consistent with the aromatics perceived on the nose, displaying an initial honeyed sweetness that evolves into a drier, spicier finish. The taste complexity is enriched by the presence of ripe fruits and a light resinous note that lingers in the aftertaste.
