The Toscana Rosso IGT "Camartina" produced by the prestigious Querciabella winery represents one of the most authentic and elegant expressions of organic wines from the Tuscan region. Since its first vintage in 1981, Camartina has proven to be a wine of extraordinary complexity and finesse.

Primarily made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes, meticulously hand-selected, this wine is the result of a careful winemaking process that respects both the environment and local traditions. The vines from which these grapes come are grown according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, without the use of synthetic chemicals, thus ensuring the purity and integrity of the fruit.

In the glass, Camartina presents an intense ruby red color, with hints that turn to garnet as the years pass. It opens with intense aromas of ripe red fruits, spicy notes, and a light touch of vanilla, a legacy of its aging in barriques. On the palate, the wine is extraordinarily balanced, with a well-integrated tannic structure and a long, pleasantly complex aromatic persistence.

Tips for serving and consuming this wine include decanting it at least an hour before serving and an ideal temperature around 18°C (64°F). Camartina pairs wonderfully with rich and structured dishes such as roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses.

Querciabella's attention to detail and sustainability makes each bottle of Camartina a unique expression of the Tuscan terroir, offering a wine experience that remains memorable. A collectible wine, which continues to evolve and surprise year after year.
