The Toscana Rosso IGT Moreccino di Casa di Terra is born from a careful selection of typical Tuscan grape varieties, interpreted with balance and respect for the territory. This blend expresses the richness and elegance of the Tuscan countryside, with a refined aging process that enhances the fruity and spicy nuances typical of the area.

In the glass, it presents with an intense ruby color, accompanied by aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and light balsamic notes intertwined with hints of vanilla and black pepper thanks to the wood aging. The soft but well-defined structure offers a pleasant balance between tannins and acidity, making the sip enveloping and persistent.

Perfect paired with grilled red meats or traditional Tuscan cuisine dishes, the Moreccino di Casa di Terra is an authentic and sincere version of the red from central Italy, winning for its rustic and harmonious elegance.

Winery history
The estate's origins date back to a family-run agricultural enterprise in the coastal Maremma. In recent decades the Frollani family has progressively focused the business on quality viticulture. In the 1990s the estate began a program of innovation in the vineyards and winery, culminating in the construction of a modern winery in the Bolgheri DOC area, now open to the public for visits and tastings.
Production philosophy
A commitment to respecting the land and interpreting the terroir of Bolgheri: viticultural practices and winery choices aim to enhance the expression of local vineyards, reduce environmental impact, and promote hospitality and direct sales.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the hilly amphitheatre of Bolgheri, facing the Tyrrhenian Sea, the vineyards lie on soils with a sandy-clayey composition and a notable stony component. The proximity to the sea moderates the climate and gives the wines a Mediterranean character.
