The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Dry Cartizze by Merotto is an excellent expression of the Cartizze terroir, one of the most prestigious micro-zones in the Prosecco area. This specific Merotto label captures the essence of a unique territory, with its 107 hectares of vineyards situated on the steepest hills of Valdobbiadene, making Cartizze renowned for its extraordinary quality and ideal microclimate.

Produced exclusively from Glera grapes, this Prosecco exhibits unique refinement. Fermentation occurs through traditional methods that preserve the natural characteristics of the grape, followed by a second fermentation in autoclaves to ensure a fine and persistent sparkling perlage that distinguishes it.

Visually, the Prosecco Cartizze by Merotto presents a bright straw-yellow color, with greenish reflections and a lively, inviting effervescence. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet, where aromas of mature white fruits such as pear and apple stand out, enriched by citrus nuances and floral notes of acacia and wisteria, with a final touch of fresh almond.

In the palate, the wine expresses a balance between sweetness and freshness, a distinctive characteristic of the "Dry" in the Prosecco scale, with a creamy sensation that envelopes the palate, balanced by good acidity that invites the next sip. The finish is persistent and aromatic, leaving room for pleasantly fruity and floral sensations.

Perfect as an aperitif, the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Dry Cartizze by Merotto is also ideal paired with delicate dishes of fish or shellfish. A wine that celebrates the tradition and excellence of Prosecco from Valdobbiadene, ideal for special occasions and for those wishing to discover the quintessence of one of the most refined Italian sparkling wines.
