Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Dry - Charmat Method - Santi represents a fascinating and delicately sweet variant of Prosecco, which combines the elegance and finesse typical of the Superiore di Valdobbiadene denomination with the pleasantness of a light residual sweetness. Produced by the Santi winery, renowned for its winemaking tradition and attention to quality, this Prosecco Superiore Dry is created using the Charmat Method, ideal for preserving the aromatic freshness and liveliness of the Glera grape variety.

Visually, the wine has a light and brilliant straw yellow color, embellished with a fine and persistent perlage, a sign of careful and high-quality winemaking. On the nose, intense and enveloping aromas of white pulp fruits emerge, such as apple and pear, enriched by delicate floral notes and a touch of citrus, which give the bouquet an inviting freshness.

In the mouth, it reveals a delicious harmony between the sweetness of the fruits and lively acidity, creating a perfect balance that makes the wine extremely pleasant and drinkable. The sensation of sweetness is subtle and well integrated, accompanied by a creaminess of the bubbles that caresses the palate, leading towards a long and satisfying finish, with a persistent sensation of freshness and cleanliness.

This Prosecco Superiore Dry is particularly suitable as an accompaniment to light desserts, fresh fruit or fine pastries, but can also be enjoyed as an aperitif thanks to its ability to stimulate the palate with a refined balance of sweetness and freshness. Its versatility also makes it an excellent choice for celebrating special occasions or for toasts that require an extra touch of sweetness.

Winery history
Cantina Santi was founded as a winery in Illasi and has been present in Valpolicella since the 19th century. During the 20th century the Santi family introduced technical innovations and progressively focused on high-end wines; in 1974 the winery became part of Gruppo Italiano Vini, which reinforced investments and facilities while preserving its local identity.
Production philosophy
Santi claims a style tied to the sense of place of Valpolicella: it favors the predominant use of Corvina in its selections, aging in large traditional casks, and the use of local woods to enhance the aromatic qualities typical of native grape varieties. The approach combines oenological research with respect for local practices.
Terroir and vineyards
Santi's vineyards and selections are concentrated in Val d'Illasi and the classic areas of Valpolicella, using a vineyard-selection approach across different exposures and microclimates to produce wines that reflect the local terroir. The winery also works with vineyards in other Veronese appellations such as Soave, Bardolino and Lugana.
