The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG - Magnum - Extra Dry Valdobbiadene - Charmat Method - Santi represents the perfect union between tradition and conviviality, offering the excellence of the Prosecco Superiore produced in the heart of Valdobbiadene in a Magnum format. This prestigious Extra Dry version best expresses the distinctive qualities of the Glera grape, magnified by the greater capacity of the Magnum bottle which favors a more harmonious evolution of the wine, while guaranteeing a notable scenic presence on the tables of special occasions.

This sparkling wine stands out for its pale straw yellow color, crossed by greenish reflections and a very fine and persistent perlage, a prelude to a highly pleasant tasting experience. The olfactory profile is a charm of freshness, with intense aromas of white pulp fruit, especially apple and pear, enriched by floral nuances of wisteria and acacia, and a lively citrus note that adds liveliness to the bouquet.

In the mouth it reveals an extraordinary harmony, with a sweetness well balanced by acidity, a characteristic that makes this Prosecco Superiore particularly inviting and drinkable. The creaminess of the bubbles blends perfectly with the flavors of fruit and flowers, leading towards a long and fresh finish, which leaves the palate satisfied and ready for another sip.

Ideal for celebrating large events, the Magnum format lends itself magnificently as an elegant centerpiece or as a prestigious gift, capable of making every moment an unforgettable occasion. It goes beautifully with a wide variety of dishes, from light appetizers to seafood first courses, without forgetting its perfect adaptability as a welcome aperitif.

Winery history
Cantina Santi was founded as a winery in Illasi and has been present in Valpolicella since the 19th century. During the 20th century the Santi family introduced technical innovations and progressively focused on high-end wines; in 1974 the winery became part of Gruppo Italiano Vini, which reinforced investments and facilities while preserving its local identity.
Production philosophy
Santi claims a style tied to the sense of place of Valpolicella: it favors the predominant use of Corvina in its selections, aging in large traditional casks, and the use of local woods to enhance the aromatic qualities typical of native grape varieties. The approach combines oenological research with respect for local practices.
Terroir and vineyards
Santi's vineyards and selections are concentrated in Val d'Illasi and the classic areas of Valpolicella, using a vineyard-selection approach across different exposures and microclimates to produce wines that reflect the local terroir. The winery also works with vineyards in other Veronese appellations such as Soave, Bardolino and Lugana.
