Valpolicella DOC Classico - Lucchine - Tedeschi is a refined and authentic example of red wine produced in the historic wine-growing region of Valpolicella, in the heart of Veneto, Italy. This wine is particularly known for its freshness and immediacy, which make it a versatile companion for various occasions.

Tedeschi's Valpolicella Classico "Lucchine" is primarily made from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes, with a small part from other native varieties. The vineyard where the grapes come from is located on alluvial soils rich in limestone, which impart a peculiar minerality and vivacity to the wine.

With a bright ruby red color, Lucchine presents an intense aromatic bouquet on the nose, where notes of fresh cherry, wild berries, and a light spiciness reminiscent of cinnamon and black pepper emerge. On the palate, it is characterized by a soft and balanced entry, followed by a pleasant acidity and finely woven tannins. The medium body and good taste persistence complete the profile of this charming wine.

Boasting a structure that allows for proper aging but also excellent when enjoyed young, the Valpolicella DOC Classico "Lucchine" by Tedeschi pairs beautifully with light appetizers, dishes based on white meat, or pasta with meat sauces. It is also ideal served with fresh or semi-aged cheeses.

An ideal choice for those looking for a wine that combines tradition and a modern approach to winemaking, offering an authentic and pleasantly unforgettable taste experience.

Winery history
The Tedeschi family has been linked to Valpolicella for centuries: company records and accounts document winemaking activity as early as the 17th century, and the estate has progressively developed the concept of single-vineyard wines, vinifying parcels separately — such as Monte Olmi. Today the estate remains family-run and has complemented tradition with investments in vineyard zoning and collaborations with research institutes to better understand soils and micro-terroirs.
Production philosophy
Making wines that reflect a true sense of place: agronomic expertise, careful observation of the vineyard and respect for the land guide decisions in the vineyard and in the cellar. The winery combines traditional techniques with scientific research and practices aimed at environmental, social and economic sustainability.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in Pedemonte di Valpolicella. The historic vineyards include Monte Olmi, Fabriseria and the Maternigo estate; the crus sit on hills with varied exposures and distinct soils that the estate has studied through zoning and soil characterization.
