Veneto IGT Rosso - Crinaia - Santi is a wine that expresses the versatility and richness of the Veneto territory, reflecting the commitment of the Santi winery in the production of quality wines. This IGT (Typical Geographical Indication) red wine combines carefully selected grapes to create a harmonious and characteristic blend, in line with the philosophy of Santi, a winery that boasts a long history and a solid reputation in Italian winemaking.

Visually, Crinaia has an intense and inviting red color, with purple reflections that underline its youth and liveliness. On the nose, it stands out for a rich and complex aromatic bouquet, where the fruity notes of cherries and red berries blend with accents of sweet spices and a light herbaceous hint, the result of meticulous vinification and possible aging in wood, which adds depth without overpowering the freshness of the fruit.

On the palate it is balanced and full, with a soft and well-integrated tannic structure that supports its medium body. The acidity is balanced, contributing to a pleasant sensation of freshness and drinkability. The wine evolves into a harmonious and persistent finish, where the fruity and spicy flavors perceived on the nose return, leaving a pleasant aromatic persistence.

This red wine is versatile in gastronomic pairings, capable of accompanying a wide range of dishes, from red meat to mature cheeses, through mushroom-based dishes and preparations of traditional Venetian cuisine. Its accessibility makes it suitable for both daily consumption and special occasions, always offering a satisfying tasting experience.

Winery history
Cantina Santi was founded as a winery in Illasi and has been present in Valpolicella since the 19th century. During the 20th century the Santi family introduced technical innovations and progressively focused on high-end wines; in 1974 the winery became part of Gruppo Italiano Vini, which reinforced investments and facilities while preserving its local identity.
Production philosophy
Santi claims a style tied to the sense of place of Valpolicella: it favors the predominant use of Corvina in its selections, aging in large traditional casks, and the use of local woods to enhance the aromatic qualities typical of native grape varieties. The approach combines oenological research with respect for local practices.
Terroir and vineyards
Santi's vineyards and selections are concentrated in Val d'Illasi and the classic areas of Valpolicella, using a vineyard-selection approach across different exposures and microclimates to produce wines that reflect the local terroir. The winery also works with vineyards in other Veronese appellations such as Soave, Bardolino and Lugana.
