Technical information
Producer Maschio
Name Verduzzo Veneto IGT Frizzante - Maschio
Variety Verduzzo
Gradation 10.5%
Format 75 cl
Region Veneto
Production area IGT Veneto
Country Italy
Type White semi-sparkling wine
The Verduzzo Veneto IGT Frizzante from Maschio shows a bright straw-yellow color with fine bubbles that bring immediate vivacity to the glass. On the nose it offers aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit, such as peach and apple, accompanied by delicate floral notes and a hint of citrus. On the palate the mousse provides liveliness and lightness: the body is slim, the freshness balanced and the salinity noticeable, with a structure that leads to a clean, pleasant finish. Overall it feels readily drinkable, unpretentious, intended to be enjoyed young.

It is suitable for informal occasions and as an aperitif; it pairs well with light starters, not-too-rich fish dishes, salads and fresh cheeses, and can also support fruit-based desserts. Serve chilled, around 8–10 °C, in fairly large glasses to enhance its aromas. A practical choice for those seeking an approachable, balanced frizzante white wine.
