The Vermentino di Sardegna Giunco in magnum presents an immediate, honest profile: fragrant and luminous, it welcomes with notes of ripe citrus, white flowers and a hint of Mediterranean herbs that never overpowers the freshness. On the palate it is clean and linear, supported by a lively acidity and a saline minerality that broadens the finish without becoming heavy; restrained glycerol and medium body make it pleasant, easy-drinking and well suited to be shared from a magnum.

Serve chilled but not ice-cold to best express its character alongside simple fish dishes, grilled shellfish or vegetable preparations and fresh cheeses. This Vermentino emphasizes clarity and drinkability, fitting for both a summer lunch and a relaxed dinner; the magnum contributes to slower bottle maturation and a more elegant reading of the sip, ideal for accompanying convivial moments and dishes from the Mediterranean tradition.

Renowned for producing Amarone and for its mastery of the appassimento technique. Campofiorin and the practice of ripasso: historic labels associated with production innovation. Use and promotion of Valpolicella’s native grape varieties. Commitment to oenological research to refine grape-drying and winemaking techniques.
Winery history
Masi's history is rooted in Valpolicella Classica. A historic family-owned estate, it has developed and enhanced the wines from dried grapes typical of the region. During the 20th century the company helped popularize practices such as ripasso and launched oenological research and experimentation to refine the appassimento technique and the quality of its Amarone and its high-end bottlings.
Production philosophy
It combines respect for local traditions and indigenous grape varieties with research and innovation in winemaking and in the appassimento process. The approach aims to express the Valpolicella territory through careful grape selection, the practice of appassimento and targeted oenological experimentation focused on quality improvement.
Terroir and vineyards
It operates mainly in the Valpolicella Classica, in the province of Verona. The wines are closely linked to the local grape varieties and the area's traditional practices, particularly to typical wines such as Amarone, Recioto and Valpolicella Ripasso.
