Pairing Fish, shellfish, light appetizers
Immediate, luminous bouquet with notes of ripe citrus, white flowers and a subtle herbaceous hint. The color is straw-yellow with greenish reflections and the sip is fresh and smooth, supported by a lively acidity that balances the softness; the saline texture and a pleasant sapidity give lift and drinkability. Medium-bodied, with a clean palate sensation and moderate persistence that leaves citrus impressions and a delicate almond note on the finish.

Best enjoyed young to appreciate its straightforward character: it pairs naturally with seafood dishes — shellfish, delicate soups, spaghetti with clams — but also stands up well to savory starters and fresh cheeses. Serve slightly chilled, around 8–10 °C, to let the aromas and savory finish emerge; a versatile choice for those seeking Mediterranean freshness without sacrificing a structure that supports the dish. Also perfect for a convivial aperitif or to accompany an informal dinner.

Region: Veneto (Valpolicella Classica)
Country: Italia
Founded: 1772
Grapes: Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, Corvinone, Oseleta
Renowned for producing Amarone and for its mastery of the appassimento technique. Campofiorin and the practice of ripasso: historic labels associated with production innovation. Use and promotion of Valpolicella’s native grape varieties. Commitment to oenological research to refine grape-drying and winemaking techniques.
Winery history
Masi's history is rooted in Valpolicella Classica. A historic family-owned estate, it has developed and enhanced the wines from dried grapes typical of the region. During the 20th century the company helped popularize practices such as ripasso and launched oenological research and experimentation to refine the appassimento technique and the quality of its Amarone and its high-end bottlings.
Production philosophy
It combines respect for local traditions and indigenous grape varieties with research and innovation in winemaking and in the appassimento process. The approach aims to express the Valpolicella territory through careful grape selection, the practice of appassimento and targeted oenological experimentation focused on quality improvement.
Terroir and vineyards
It operates mainly in the Valpolicella Classica, in the province of Verona. The wines are closely linked to the local grape varieties and the area's traditional practices, particularly to typical wines such as Amarone, Recioto and Valpolicella Ripasso.
