The Acininobili di Maculan is an IGT sweet wine of exceptional prestige, produced by the renowned Venetian winery Maculan. This extraordinary sweet wine is made mainly from Vespaiola grapes, a native vine from the Breganze area, in the heart of Veneto, famous for its predisposition to produce high quality sweet wines, especially when the grapes are left to dry to concentrate their natural sugars and aromas.

Acininobili is produced through a careful selection of the best Vespaiola grapes, subjected to a natural drying process which concentrates not only the sugar but also the aromas and acidity, thus guaranteeing extraordinary complexity and perfect balance. After drying, the grapes are delicately pressed and the must obtained slowly ferments in French oak barriques, where the wine matures for several months, acquiring notes of great refinement and a unique aromatic intensity.

The result is a sweet wine of surprising richness and complexity. Visually, the Acininobili presents itself with an intense and brilliant golden color. On the nose, it offers an enveloping and seductive scent, with notes of ripe exotic fruit, dehydrated apricot, honey, vanilla and touches of sweet spices, enriched by a subtle vein of minerality that gives freshness and depth to the bouquet.

In the mouth, Acininobili is extremely rich and concentrated, but at the same time surprisingly balanced thanks to its lively natural acidity which contrasts the sweetness, giving a harmonious and pleasantly persistent sip. Rich flavors of ripe fruit and honey blend with elegant notes of vanilla and spice, resulting from wood aging, leading to a long, luxurious finish.

Ideal as a meditation wine or paired with complex desserts, blue cheeses or foie gras, Maculan's Acininobili is a sublime example of how Veneto can express itself at the highest level in the world of sweet wines, offering an unforgettable tasting experience for lovers of unique and extraordinary quality wines.

Winery history
The winery originated from the Maculan family's winemaking activities in Breganze. The current estate was developed from the business founded by grandfather Giovanni Maculan in 1947. In the 1970s Fausto Maculan led a qualitative transformation of the estate, elevating local wines such as Torcolato and expanding the portfolio with modern expressions of red and white wines. Today management also involves his daughters, continuing a path that combines local tradition with winemaking innovation.
Production philosophy
The winemaking approach combines respect for the territory with experimentation: meticulous care in the vineyard and the cellar, revival of local traditions and attention to modern techniques. The estate emphasizes the identity of Breganze grapes while also using international varieties for a wide range of wine styles.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the DOC Breganze area, on the hills at the foot of the Altopiano di Asiago. The area is characterized by microclimates favorable to ripening and by hillside aspects that influence production, particularly of passito wines made from Vespaiola.
