Pairing Desserts, aged cheeses, dry sweets
Santelmo - Serristori presents itself as a liqueur wine of great harmony: on the nose it offers a rich tapestry of ripe fruit and honeyed notes, with hints of fruit preserved in spirits and discreet vanilla. On the palate the sweetness is well integrated, the sip shows a rounded body and a velvety texture; the alcoholic warmth is tempered by lively freshness and a salinity that balance the profile. The finish is long without becoming cloying, with echoes of caramel and candied citrus peel that linger on the palate.

Serve slightly chilled in dessert wine glasses; it is particularly ideal as a wine for contemplation but also lends itself to concrete pairings: aged cheeses, dry pastries and desserts made with dried fruit or cream. It can also pair successfully with foie gras dishes or dark chocolate desserts, offering a pleasant contrast. A product with which to close a meal, leaving an enveloping, well-balanced and satisfying impression.
