The Whisky 40 yo 70cl - The Balvenie represents a masterpiece of Scottish distilling art, coming from the renowned Speyside region, known for the richness of its malts and the softness of its aromatic profiles. Made exclusively with malted barley and crystal-clear water, this whisky shows a complexity that only four decades of patient maturation in oak barrels can provide. The aging takes place mainly in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, enriched by a subsequent passage in sherry casks that impart depth and olfactory layering.

On the nose, it opens with elegant notes of acacia honey, vanilla, and a delicate hint of smoked wood, accompanied by fruity nuances of peach and candied citrus. On the palate, it reveals an enveloping structure, where the sweetness of the malt intertwines with sweet spices and a lingering aftertaste of butter caramel and toasted nuts. This whisky lends itself to meditative tasting moments, ideal to accompany dark chocolate or delicate cigars, enhancing every sip with its refined elegance and complexity. A true collector's treasure for high-end whisky enthusiasts.
