Young and bright, this Arran 2015 8-year-old from the Premier Barrel series selected by Douglas Laing shows an immediate and pleasant profile. On the nose there are white-fleshed fruits and ripe citrus, accompanied by light floral notes and a hint of honey that lends softness; the character remains clean and direct, without excess, with a slight spicy nuance framing everything. You can sense an aromatic texture that favors enjoyability over forced complexity, consistent with a young but well-balanced whisky.

On the palate the sip is lively and smooth: freshness and a subtle salinity support a rounded structure, with fruity callbacks and a sweet touch that lingers in the finish. The impression is of balance between body and lightness, suitable both for drinking neat and with a drop of water to open up its aromas. It pairs well with creamy cheeses, caramel-based desserts, or as a companion for a relaxed evening break.
