Quinta Ruban è un whisky non-filtrato che nasce dalla distillazione di malto purissimo invecchiato nelle migliori botti di rovere bianco americano per 14 anni e successivamente travasato in botti da Porto tra le migliori Quintas portoghesi. Nel 2014 è stato eletto whisky dell'anno all'International Whisky Competition.
Al calice si presenta con un colore giallo ambrato brillante. All'olfatto è ampio e travolgente con i suoi ampi aromi perfettamente amalgamati l'un l'altro. I sentori di cioccolato e caramella d'orzo, ben si mescolano infatti agli aromi fruttati di frutti di bosco e alle note speziate di noce moscata con legno di sandalo e nocciola tostata.
Un sorso intrigante, ricco e avvolgente contraddistinto da nitidi sentori agrumati che evolvono in un finale dolce e finemente speziato.
Si consiglia di berlo liscio.
