Koval Bourbon Whiskey, produced by the artisanal distillery in Chicago, Koval, is a unique expression of bourbon made using 100% organic ingredients. The 50 cl bottle perfectly represents the attention to detail and dedication to quality that characterize this distillery.
Founded in 2008, Koval is the first whiskey distiller in Chicago since the Prohibition era. This bourbon stands out for its recipe, which includes a higher proportion of rye in the grain mixture, giving it a spicier aroma profile compared to traditional bourbons. The distillation is done in small batches, and the whiskey is aged in brand-new American oak barrels, which brings complexity and a range of enveloping flavors.
On the palate, Koval Bourbon offers notes of vanilla and caramel, enriched by hints of spice and a light touch of nuts. The finish is smooth, with a hint of pepper that lingers gracefully.
