The Laphroaig Quarter Cask is an inimitable Single Malt Scotch Whisky produced on the Isle of Islay, renowned for its unique maturation process that imparts exceptional intensity and depth of flavor. This whisky is first aged in standard size American oak barrels before being transferred to quarter casks, which are approximately one quarter the size of traditional ones. This method increases the whisky's contact with the wood, accelerating the aging process and incorporating rich aromas of vanilla and coconut, along with the classic peat and iodine characteristic of the distillery.
On the palate, Laphroaig Quarter Cask exhibits extraordinary complexity with notes of dried fruit, malt, and a persistent smoky sensation. On the nose, it presents an intense bouquet where peat smoke blends with the sweetness of vanilla and hints of fruit. The finish is long and lingering, with a balanced return of sweet and smoky flavors. Packaged in an elegant tube, this whisky is ideal for lovers of intense and refined flavors.

Distillation
Double distillation in copper pot stills (pot still); the plant comprises seven stills (3 wash, 4 spirit) with high lyne arms and cut points designed to preserve tarry and maritime notes.
Ageing
Maturation in oak casks in coastal warehouses; seasonal variation (expansion in summer, contraction in winter) promotes interaction between wood and spirit. Frequent use of ex-bourbon for the base with finishes or re-racking in different wood types for specific expressions.
