Miltonduff 10-year-old, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, offers an immediate and well-balanced profile, with a balance of softness and structure that makes it enjoyable from the first sip. On the nose it shows notes of yellow-fleshed fruit and honey, supported by cereal aromas and a delicate vanilla derived from maturation; it doesn't seek extreme effects, but rather pleasant aromatic clarity and a silky texture that wraps the palate.

On the palate it confirms its linear character: medium body, moderate warmth and a return of sweet, biscuity notes to which a light spicy touch is added in the finish, keeping the drink fresh. It's a versatile whisky: it appeals to those who enjoy profiles that aren't overly smoky and works both for a careful tasting, with a drop of water to open up the aromas, and for simple pairings such as aged cheeses, dark chocolate or dishes based on flavorful white meats. An honest and accessible interpretation of the Miltonduff name.
