Whiskey Oban Classic Malt was born in the port town of the same name, between the Highlands and the Islands, where land and sea meet. The distillery was founded in 1794 by the Stevenson family, where it is still located today, near the cliff in the heart of the city.

A Classic Malt produced with the best barley and using the most ancient distillation techniques, with small stills, and aging it for about 14 years in oak barrels.

It shows a bright antique gold color. Powerful sensations of sulfur and peat stand out on the nose, followed by aromas of dried flowers and candied citrus fruits, with hints of malt and dried fruit, notes of spices and caramel are added. In the mouth the taste is dry and sweet, delicately salty, with hints of smoky and fruity notes.

Excellent to sip alone or in combination with 65% dark chocolate.
