The Whisky Rock Oyster Blended Malt Cl.70, presented in an elegant Giftbox, is a sophisticated tribute to maritime spirits. Masterfully distilled, this exclusive blend comprises malts from the Scottish isles, renowned for their intensely smoky and saline aromas. On the nose, Rock Oyster reveals a vibrant symphony of maritime notes, accompanied by hints of peat smoke and a slight sweetness of vanilla. On tasting, it opens with a robust wave of black pepper and spices, skillfully blending with the flavor of seaweed and a subtle hint of citrus. The finish is long and persistent, with an aftertaste reminiscent of fresh ocean air. This selection is ideal for those who appreciate a complex whisky with a strong maritime character. A prestigious gift for connoisseurs who wish to explore the depths of flavor without leaving the shore.

Distillation
As an independent bottler the main activity is blending and selection of purchased casks; for particular releases blending and bottling predominate. Since 2019, following the acquisition of the Strathearn distillery, the company also has direct production/distillation capacity for some labels.
Ageing
Maturation in oak casks; their selections commonly use ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks (as well as various types of oak casks for aging and finishing).
