Royal Brackla 16 years old is a single malt Scotch whisky that showcases the artisanal mastery of the Royal Brackla distillery, founded in 1812 and located in the Highlands. This expression has been matured for 16 years, a period during which the whisky has imbued itself with complexities derived from aging in a selection of barrels, including those of Oloroso sherry. The result is a distillate with an intense and bright amber color.
On the nose, the Royal Brackla 16 years old unveils a rich bouquet of aromas, where notes of nuts, caramel, and subtle hints of citrus prevail. On the palate, its velvety texture accompanies flavors of baked apple, sweet spices like cinnamon, and a delicate trace of dark chocolate, completed by a long and persistent finish with hints of vanilla and toasted malt.
