The Whisky W&M Caol Ila 2016-2024 Quercus Alba is born in the famous distillery of Islay, a reference point for lovers of peated single malts. This whisky has been matured in American white oak barrels (Quercus Alba), a choice that imparts an enveloping character and unprecedented complexity, enhancing vanilla sweetness and woody nuances. The aging period, which extends from 2016 to 2024, allows balancing the traditional intensity of Caol Ila with a softer and more multifaceted roundness.

On the nose, marine and iodized notes typical of the originating land appear, accompanied by delicate aromas of caramel and citrus. On the palate, the taste is persistent, with a smoky weave well balanced by hints of honey and sweet spices. Perfect to taste neat or with a drop of water, it pairs splendidly with smoked fish dishes or aged cheeses. The giftbox packaging enhances the preciousness of this artisanal expression, also ideal as a refined gift.
