The vinification of Zibibbo "Gagliardetta" aims to preserve the intense and distinctive aromas of the vine, with a controlled temperature fermentation that allows the primary aromas to be kept intact. Winery history

The estate was founded in Marsala by Vito Curatolo in 1875 and has remained family-run for several generations. During the 20th century the winery expanded its presence in foreign markets and, beginning in the 1970s, diversified production beyond Marsala into still wines also intended for export. In recent years the family has developed single-varietal lines and territorial selections, collaborating with external oenologists to enhance indigenous varieties and the identity of individual vineyards.

To enhance Sicily's native grape varieties and distinct local territories with an approach that combines family tradition and a commitment to quality in the vineyard and cellar, while promoting winemaking innovation and openness to international markets.
