The brand is inspired by the cenotes of the Yucatán Peninsula and emphasizes production methods that combine traditional techniques with technological control of water.

The Cenote brand entered the SPI Group / Stoli Group portfolio in 2017 and was commercially launched between late 2017 and Q1 2018. Production takes place in Jalisco at distillery facilities controlled by the group and, according to the brand and parent company communications, the line was developed under the supervision of the master distiller specified by the company. From the outset the positioning has been super-premium with distribution and marketing managed by Stoli Group.
