Producer history Combier

Founded by Jean‑Baptiste Combier in 1834 as a confectionery workshop in Saumur, the house became famous for creating the first Triple Sec (today L'Original Combier). During the 19th and 20th centuries the range expanded with elixirs, liqueurs and later absinthe. Recognized for its heritage and savoir‑faire, the distillery was acquired by Franck Choisne around 2000 and continues to produce a range of traditional and contemporary liqueurs.
