The story
The Beam family began producing whiskey in Kentucky around the end of the 18th century; the brand traces origins back to 1795. After Prohibition the family rebuilt production in Clermont (James B. Beam Distilling Co.). Over time the brand grew and, in 2014, became part of the international Beam Suntory group.
Production philosophy
Continuing a family bourbon tradition by combining historical methods with modern-scale production: maintaining a consistent recipe (sour mash, house yeast) and offering a range from core bourbons to flavored variants and selected premium bottles.
