The brand's history is linked to the Potocki family's long-standing activity in Łańcut: a distillery documented since 1784 and developed by the family in the 19th century. The historical production in Łańcut continued into the modern era, while the contemporary activity of the Potocki brand was relaunched from 2003. Currently Potocki vodka is produced in Pomerania, near the Baltic coast; the historic Łańcut facility was finally closed in 2021.
