Production method
Produced at the Fábrica de Tequilas Finos (Tequila, Jalisco). Made from 100% blue agave (Agave tequilana Weber), with pressing/extraction of agave juice, controlled fermentation and double distillation; a filtration step referred to as 'Mexican silver' is also reported to soften the spirit. Blanco expressions are bottled without aging; Reposado and Añejo undergo resting/aging in casks (see sources for details).
