Production method
Torres brandies are produced by distilling wines made from Penedès grape varieties. Both batch distillation in traditional copper pot stills (to preserve greater aroma) and continuous column distillation (for softer profiles suited to blending) are used. Aging is carried out using two approaches: solera (American oak barrels) and static aging in French oak casks depending on the expression.

Producer history Torres
The Torres family has been active as winegrowers since the 16th century and founded their winery (Casa Torres) in Vilafranca del Penedès in 1870. Brandy production in the family is documented from 1928; since then Torres has developed a dedicated line of brandies and wine distillates, combining traditional techniques with modern practices and earning international recognition.
Production philosophy
A pursuit of quality through selection of Penedès vineyards, respect for traditional distillation and aging methods, and exploration of different profiles (solera and static aging) to serve both neat consumption and mixing.
