The estate began as a wine estate following the restoration of a farmhouse. According to the official website, it was launched in 1993 by an entrepreneur drawn to the hills of Gaiole in Chianti. Over time the winery established its identity in Chianti Classico and also distinguished itself with Toscana IGT wines. In 2018 the estate was acquired by the Fontanafredda group, which relaunched its production and communication project.
