Winery history Benjamin et David Duclaux

This is a family estate passed down through generations: the property was purchased by great-grandfather Frédéric Caillet in 1928; management later passed to Edmond and Monique, and today it is run by brothers Benjamin and David Duclaux. Over the years the family has maintained its focus on the steep parcels of the Côte-Rôtie and on a small plot in Condrieu.

Production philosophy

Manual vineyard work and hand harvesting, a pursuit of balance and elegant wines typical of the southern part of the appellation; traditional winemaking with attention to yields and aging in wood when required, privileging the expression of the terroir.

Terroir and vineyards

The domaine is located in Tupin-et-Semons in the Northern Rhône. The vineyards are situated on steep slopes underlain by gneiss and granite bedrock, typical of the appellation’s southern side.
