Winery Mario Marengo

The Marengo family has been producing wine in La Morra for several generations; the winery is recorded as having been founded in 1899. In recent decades, management passed to Marco Marengo and his family, with involvement from the next generation. Over the years the winery has brought its Barolo to international markets and has consolidated a reputation linked to the historic vineyards in the La Morra area.

Strong focus on vineyard work and respect for the land: an approach that prioritizes grape quality and agronomic practices compatible with the cru's vocation, with traditional winemaking and wood aging where applicable.

Located in the municipality of La Morra. The family's vineyards are situated in the crus Le Brunate and Bricco delle Viole; there are also parcels in the Roero. Some sources indicate vineyards exposed at about 350 m above sea level.

The winery and some of its wines are mentioned in guides and reviews, and vintages have appeared in evaluations by international critics.
