Winery Paul Janin et Fils

The Janin family has been cultivating vineyards in Romanèche‑Thorins since the 1930s; the estate's records show winemaking activity in the area dating back to 1937. The modern label "Maison Paul Janin & Fils" was launched in 2018, operating alongside the traditional estate and allowing the sale of cuvées crafted in the house style.

Artisanal approach to vineyard and cellar work, with attention to soil protection and vine management; in recent years the estate has introduced practices close to organic farming and expresses a sensitivity toward biodynamic methods and minimal-intervention winemaking.

Located in Romanèche‑Thorins in the Beaujolais region, the production heart is the cru Moulin‑à‑Vent, with historic parcels such as 'Les Greneriers' and 'Les Burdelines'. Production also includes the appellations Beaujolais‑Villages, Brouilly and Chénas.
