Descrizione

In the glass it shows a deep ruby color, clear with slight garnet reflections that invite the nose. On the nose there are aromas of ripe red fruit, delicate floral notes and a hint of sweet spice; the aromatic profile is subtly supported by earthy elements and a pleasant minerality. The olfactory development opens up with aeration while retaining an overall elegance.

On the palate it reveals structure and well-present tannins, with a savory, harmonious progression that accompanies the fruity returns. The persistence is satisfying, with a finish that recalls the initial aromatic impressions. It pairs naturally with meat dishes, roasts and aged cheeses, and can also complement mushroom dishes or richly flavored sauces. For those wishing to cellar it, a short rest in a cool cellar may help aromas evolve and soften the tannins, though it remains enjoyable when consumed young.
